Dear Mary,
I have tried every form of "permanent" hair removal!! There is no such thing as "permanent" hair removal. I've tried electrolysis, laser, depilatories, sugars, waxing. Laser was the most effective although the most expensive. It did not permenantly remove all my hair, but it did thin it down.
Hope this helped, and if you find anything out there that actually works please let me know.

I had 5 treatments of laser removal to get rid of the hair on my lower legs. Wow it was brilliant. Really really expensive, but I'm really pleased I did it. It was fairly painful, a bit like a burn, but there are different kinds of laser treatments and they don't all hurt. My shins were like shetland pony legs before, and now I can wear tights and look nice doing it. Result!!!

The at home products work if you follow the instructions just as they are. They are also just as safe as the salon,but with the at home products read the ingredients and make sure that none will give you an allergy.
