They may want to take a look to see what the hair looks like since that may mean more treatments. The hair may be coarse or fine, light or dark, a lot of hair to be removed or a little bit. they may also want to take a look at your skin and see if there is anything that might prevent them from doing the treatments. If they offer a free consultation then just make the appointment and go in for it.

Cost depends on how many treatments you go for. Laser treatment is considered "permanent". (I had this done, and it's great). Every place charges different, but in New York it's about $150-$200 per session (both legs) and you need at least 7 sessions maximum for the hair folicles to stop growing back. Its worth the investment because you don't shave as much as you're not spending money on as many razors and other shaving accessories. When in doubt, call a bunch of places and ask them how much their packages are - they're usually in packaegs of 6 -7, so you'll be able to configure how much each session will be. Good luck!
