I was told that laser hair removal requires about 6 treatments. She also said that the hair will be minimized enough so that you do not have to shave anymore. Can someone please clarify this? Can you still see hair after all your treatments? And is the laser hair reduction permanent after all the treatments?

I've tried shaving and it just leaves bumps and starts growing back the next day.
I've been considering laser hair removal, but is that permanent?
If not, is there anything out there that is?

I totally hear you. I'm pale and have dark hair "down there". Years ago, I got just the basic bikini line (anything that grows outside where a bikini would be) laser and it was absolutely permanent.

Now I'm doing my legs and full bikini (Brazilian-style). I'm almost through with my series of treatments and I can tell you it's working great.

You and I, having pale skin and dark hair are the perfect candidates for laser hair removal. I'm so glad I did it. No more shaving, no more bumps! (Not cheap, however.)
